1. What is Sponks?Sponks is an advertising platform. The term 'sponks' derives from the union of the words 'SPOnsored liNKS' and refers to all of the web links payed by someone to sponsor something.I created it while I was searching a short and with a nice-sound word to describe rapidly all web links advertising something. 2. Why should I pay to be on this site?Because Sponks gives you the opportunity to sponsor your site, blog, applications for iPhone* or iPod* touch, your page on social networks, professionals networks, your Twitter page, photos on Flickr**, videos on YouTube, your web applications and much more. You will have a text (or an image) and a link to your site on a Web site that could potentially be seen by millions of people over the coming years and all over the place.3. How does it work?Each character (or image) that appears on the Sponks homepage has a price that is determined on the basis of its size in terms of pixels.The character size is from 8px to 88px so there are 80 different sizes (font-size). The image size is from 14x14 pixels to 88x88 pixels (the image must be square). The minimum purchase is 5 characters or an image-14x14 pixels, the maximum purchase is 50 characters or an image-88x88 pixels. So, if you want to publish a text with, for example, only 2 characters, you will pay 5 characters. The smaller character (font-size: 8 px) has a price of $1 USD. The smaller image (14x14 pixels) has a price of $23 USD. All characters of a purchased text have tha same font-size. The purchased text or image will appear on Sponks homepage in order of size from the largest to smallest, from left to right, from left-upper corner to right-lower corner. This explains the slogan 'The First The Biggest'. The position of your text or image is NOT fixed on homepage. It depends on size and length of your text or on size of your image. It also depends on purchase time, i.e. if someone else pays for a text with same size AND length or for an image with same size first, you will be after him according to the above-mentioned order. Compared with text size, the image size is considered as a 2 characters text. So, for instance, a 14px text is first of a 14x14-pixels image because, once again, the minimum purchase is 5 characters. Can I change its size?No, you can not. Once you have ordered, paid, and approved a text or image, their size can not be modified, but you can buy a new one.7. YouTube removed my video linked from my text (or image). Can I get refound?No, you can not! The same if you remove your video by yourself. If you want your text (or image) and link can be removed from this site but you can get be refound.8. I decided to delete my account from my social network. Can I get refound?Once more: no, you can not! If you want your text (or image) and link can be removed but you can get be refound, apart from any change occurs for your site, blog, online community, Twitter page or Flickr** account.
